MAC appoints a new Dean of Students & New Testament Lecturer

Mary Andrews College has appointed Dr Louise Gosbell as Dean of Students. The new position has been created to strengthen support for students from application to graduation.

MAC Principal, Rev. Dr Katy Smith explained, “The goal of creating this new position is to see the number of women graduating from MAC multiplied, with the further aim that these women are trained effectively to have an impact for the gospel in Sydney and beyond.”

Louise has been lecturing in New Testament and Disability Studies at Mary Andrews College since 2014. During this time she completed her doctorate at Macquarie University entitled, The Poor, the Crippled, the Blind, and the Lame: Physical and Sensory Disability in the Gospels of the New Testament

Louise’s experience in the disability sector and in student support at MAC, as well as her expertise as a doctorally qualified lecturer, places her well for this new role and we are looking forward to seeing the impact of her role in MAC for God’s kingdom and for His glory.
