ADM's First Annual Funding Event was held on Thursday 29 September 2016, at ADM's Sydney offices.
Women came and pitched their ideas to a panel and the ADM community in four streams for pitches on the day: the Founding Co-hort of the Hub, Ministry & Mission; Mercy & Justice; and Arts Initiatives. Each of the women who pitched did an outstanding job, and the day was a great celebration of the diverse giftings of women who are doing Kingdom work, all across Australia. Deciding whom to award was incredibly difficult. At the close of the day, the ADM Grants Committee awarded:
Hailey McQueen of Clock & Spiel Productions for her production and multi-city tour of The Screwtape Letters, which she pitched in the Arts Initiative category
The People’s Choice Award
Erica Hamence at Common Grace for their SAFER initiative, in response to Domestic Violence
