To see women, from generation to generation, flourishing in Kingdom work.
To raise up women with theological formation for practical and public engagement.
For 127 years, ADM's work has responded to context and need, but our enduring mission remains unchanged.

In an era of fake news, echo chambers and tribal politics, the stories we tell ourselves have enormous power. Some diminish our sympathies and deepen divides. What kinds of stories help enrich our common life? Is it possible to transcend the culture war around religion in society? How does history help us re-imagine Australia now?
Anglican Deaconess Ministries has awarded over $60,000 to Australian Christian women from across the globe in its third Annual Funding Event on Wednesday, 19 September.
Selected women representing four states across Australia as well as Norway, Papua New Guinea and the UK received funding for a variety of unique Christian initiatives and ministries. Aligning with ADM’s 127-year old commitment to theological formation, mercy and justice and public engagement, this year’s 17 applicants presented projects within the categories of IDEAS, FORM, DO and ENGAGE.
At Engage evening sessions you’ll hear four speakers from across a variety of spheres share stories about their projects, ideas, actions or future plans. Meet peers, mentors and friends to journey with. Enjoy food and fun on a Thursday night. Open to all interested women from any field, age or background – and we especially welcome newcomers.
Stay tuned for 'Building A Safe & Strong Marriage' – a unique marriage course to be released later this year. This course pulls together biblical insights, marriage research and a wealth of experience from ADM's Rev. Dr Keith Condie and Sarah Condie, who have run marriage courses for the past 15 years.
